3DCT Viewer is a freely distributable application that allows anyone to easily view and manipulate 3D objects saved in 3DCT’s .3dc file format. Our viewer comes as a stand-alone application or an ActiveX control/FireFox/Chrome/Safari plug-in, allowing you to embed 3D in an HTML document.

First time viewers of an HTML document with an embedded .3dc file will be invited to download the compact (200K) 3DCT Viewer.

3DCT Viewer supplies you with a quite a few viewing options, including the following:

• Rotate, Zoom, Move – mouse controlled or incremental for fine control
• Transformation Back Button – reverse transformation made
• Orthographic/Perspective - toggle between modes
• Restricted Rotation – the ability to limit rotational freedom for objects with a natural “up” orientation, such as architecual plans
• Shading/Wireframe – toggle between shaded, mesh, or both
• Hidden Line Removal - for wireframe mode
• Single Light - toggle with multiple light for accentuated lighting effects
• Ground Plane - add a feeling of realism and depth
• Shadow - improve the sense of realism of the ground plane
• Background Color – customize color
• Object Color – cutomize color
• Ground Plane Color – customize color
• Initial View – reset view to initial read view
• Preset Views – choose predefined, special views set-up in 3DCT Enterprise
• Video Accelerator – option to turn on to improve redraw
• View Multiple Files – open multiple .3dc files; view and manipulate simultaneously

3DCT Viewer is available for all Windows 9x, ME, NT, 2000, XP, as well as the mobile platform Windows CE. Browser plug-in for FireFox and Chrome and ActiveX control for Internet Explorer.
