3D Compression Technologies (3DCT) is the leader in
3D data compression solutions. We have the industry's
best compression and the smallest viewer, and together
these solutions provide for the most efficient delivery
of 3D content on the web.
3D Compression Technologies, Inc. is a privately held
company operating in the Phoenix, Arizona metropolitan
area. 3DCT was formed in January 2001. However, the
scientific team had been working for several years prior
to that date on perfecting our 3D technology.
The founders of 3DCT consists of a Ph.D. mathematician,
Ph.D. computer scientists, an experienced product architect,
and an MBA. The unique blend of academics and software
engineers, and business professionals make our products
versatile, stable, resilient, and relevant for the needs
of today.
Anshuman Razdan, Ph.D. Computer Science
and Engineering, holds the position of CEO & CTO. Since 2006
he has held the position of Associate Professor and Director
of I3DEA Lab (I3DEA) at Arizona
State University at Poly campus. Prior to this, he was the Director
for the Partnership for Research In Stereo Modeling
(PRISM) at Arizona
State University. Anshuman has worked extensively
in the software industry since 1988 for companies
including Motorola, ADS, Informative Graphics, and
as a consultant for 3D software solutions. |
Jim
Mcintosh, M.S. Computer Science,
holds the position of Product Architect. Jim has
been working in the software industry for the past
20 years including roles of Principal Software Engineer
at Medtronic, Informative Graphics and e-try.com,
producing safety-critical, graphical and web-interactive
products. Jim balances out the team with his practical
expertise in software engineering. |
Dianne
Hansford, Ph.D. Computer Science and Engineering, holds the position of Vice President of R&D. Dianne is an Associate Research Professor in the School of Computing and Informatics at Arizona State University. Since 1994, Dianne has been consulting and developing customized software for Geometric Modeling applications through her company Farinhansford.com. Formerly, she was a Senior CADD/CAM Scientist at MCS (Anvil). Dianne spent a year in Germany as a Fulbright Researcher and she has co-authored three texts (with Gerald Farin):

Gerald
Farin, Ph.D. Mathematics, holds the
position of Senior Research Advisor. Gerald is a
Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at
Arizona State University in the area of Geometric
Modeling. He began his career at Mercedes-Benz in
their Research & Development department in Sindelfingen,
Germany. As well as publishing numerous articles
and serving as co-editor of the journal CAGD, Gerald
has authored four books: Curves
and Surfaces for CAGD, NURBS
from Projective Geometry to Practical Use,
and the three co-authored with Dianne. |
Alan Hald,
M.B.A. is a strategic business consultant to the
company. He was one of the founders of MicroAge
Inc., a fortune 500 company. Alan has been referred
to as "the single most influential advocate for
high-tech industries in the state." This is reflected
in Alan's roles as chair of the board of the Arizona
Technology Incubator, leader of the Governor's New
Economy Task Force, leader of the Governor's Strategic
Partnership for Economic Development (GSPED), and
chair of the public policy committee of the Computing
Technology Industry Association. |
